Excellent service. We had a problem with our A/C not working. It happened last year, but no one was able to figure it out definitively. This time, the technician was very thorough and was able to pinpoint to the thermostat. He was also helpful in explaining how to set up the vents to get optimum air distribution across all 3 floors.

I can't say enough good things
I can’t say enough good things about this company and specifically Mike. Other do so is used to take an hour to do the yearly maintenance visit. Mike takes at least 2.5 hours and last summer his visit was around 3.5 hours cleaning my AC unit outside, which resulted in a 3 degree reduction in the temperature and the system now runs much more efficiently! He found some wiring mistakes from the previous contractor that he fixed as well. Overall they are honest, very qualified and knowledgeable, fair priced and very professional. Would recommend them 100%. I can’t say enough good things about this company, and especially about Mike. Other companies usually take about an hour for a yearly maintenance visit, but Mike spends at least 2.5 hours. Last summer, his visit was closer to 3.5 hours because he thoroughly cleaned my outdoor AC unit, which resulted in a 3-degree temperature reduction and a system that now runs much more efficiently. He also identified and corrected wiring mistakes left by a previous contractor. Overall, this company is honest, highly qualified and knowledgeable, fairly priced, and extremely professional. I would recommend them 100% without hesitation.

Under this heat dome, our relatively new Rheem air conditioner was giving off a burning smell. Air Treatment came that night to check it out, and the able technician said that it was coming from the motor. The company moved quickly to get a new motor from Rheem and made the installation. I called them at the recommendation of a colleague after my AC stopped working in the middle of a high heat warning. We have pets and wanted to get things fixed ASAP. I was very pleased with your technician; he was very thorough and checked all the important parts of the AC system for the summer operation. He also recommended cleaning the condensing unit coil outside of the building, but the quoted price of $420 is rather high.

Saved $3000 by getting a second opinion
I reached out to ATHC after another company came and told me the price of fixing my AC would be $5500 (no details, they wouldn't give any—just pay that price for a new blower, module, and control panel). I wanted a second opinion and found ATHC. They were able to schedule me within a day, came on time, and gave a detailed assessment of my blower and control panel—including the amps going into and out of the control panel. ATHC determined that the control panel was fine, and the AC unit was fine, but the blower needed replacement. They also cautioned me about spending a lot of money repairing an older AC unit—but did not pressure me (unlike the other place). In the end, I saved $3000 (!!!) by getting a second opinion from ATHC and they have gained a loyal customer. In addition, I signed up for their maintenance plan (since my system is 15 yrs old)... and even the maintenance plan was $100 LESS than the other company. Moral of the story is to take the time to shop around. Very glad to have found ATHC.
